This is a continuation of two weeks in Southern Germany work training series. You can all posts from this trip here.
Route to Liechtenstein starting at Leonberg
New free day to see places. Let’s go for a serious 600 km ride starting and ending at Leonberg.
We again drove through Ulm, passing Memmingen and while approaching the border, we wanted to check out lake Bodensee Obersee in the very south of Germany so we exited highway to visit Lindau.
Lindau
Few shots from there below:
Still a morning feeling…
Going back to the car, refilling gasoline at Lochau and we enter Austria’s side.
Crossing Austria and Switzerland
Only one shot from Austria’s landscape after having a lunch at cozy Chinese restaurant whose address I can’t locate anymore.
The mountains… Soon.
Pretty soon we hit Switzerland. I have some bias towards this country, as if anything there is extremely beautiful. I feel lost in that assessment, but I surely loved driving through.
Liechtenstein’s Alps
20 minutes later we are already at Vaduz looking how to get up at least a little bit. Apparently this was an easy task and soon we were pushing our rented car up to Triesenberg and onwards.
Going through the tunnel we found our selves in Switzerland again. After hitting a skiing camp we turn around to Liechtenstein. Funny note: there was a march playing an awesome tune in awesome weather on an awesome landscape.
On the Liechtenstein side we found some magical place to contemplate the present moment.
Those were the best 10 minutes of the month. Period.
Several more shots from above Vaduz… Magical.
I don’t know if there are any unhappy Vaduzians out there then they drive to work and see that in front of their car.
Passing through Nasslau, Switzerland
Going back we had a task of shooting two rabbits on one bullet. Avoid paid highways and check out smaller towns and roads along Switzerland (Nasslau–> Wil–> Konstanz–>Hotel).
Last hour in Switzerland hands us the present – set the sun to the embrace of mountains.
In part 3, I will guide you through Baden-Baden and Strasbourg. All posts from two weeks in Southern Germany here.
